Birth control
The Pill, condoms, diaphragms, cervical caps, Depo-Provera, Norplant and the IUD are all available for you. No matter what birth control method you choose, our staff will talk with you about all your options including abstinence, the only sure way to prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections.
Annual exam
Once you are 18 or become sexually active, you will need an annual Pap test and pelvic exam. You can get this exam at your nearest Planned Parenthood clinic.
Sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment
Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) like chlamydia, herpes and AIDS are spread through oral, anal and vaginal sex. If you're worried you may have an STI, a Planned Parenthood nurse not only provides testing and treatment, but also talks to you about reducing your risks in the future.
Pregnancy testing
If you're concerned or scared you might be pregnant, come to Planned Parenthood for confidential testing and counseling. During our one-on-one counseling session, staff will talk with you about all of your options and start you on the path you choose.
